The first tetraploid Italian ryegrasss available with AR37 endophyte

Lush AR37 is the perfect fit for pastures in areas that experience high insect pressure, particularly African Black Beetle. AR37 endophyte has clearly demonstrated a superior level of protection against a number of damaging pasture pests in Australia. Lush AR37 is a southern favourite that is making its way up north. It is quick to establish, has exceptional rust tolerance and provides quality feed into summer, especially under favourable conditions.

Aftermath Heading: Less aftermath heading means Lush with AR37 provides stock with exceptional quality summer feed.
Persistence: Available with AR37 endophyte, Lush is highly persistant and insect tolerant

Sowing and establishment

Lush AR37 is perfect for undersowing into dairy pastures and intensive sheep or beef systems or as part of a pasture mix. For undersowing Lush AR37 should be sown at a minimum of 14 kg/ha using Ultrastrike® treated seed.

Grazing management

Lush AR37  Italian ryegrass is best suited to rotational grazing. For best persistence, avoid hard grazing over summer and apply fertiliser often.

Minimum 500mm rainfall per annum unless irrigated

I am very impressed with Lush AR37 for its early vigour and exceptional winter growth. The Lush Italian ryegrass with AR37 endophyte was chosen to assist with a root aphid issue in some paddocks and I will be continuing with AR37 varieties for this reason. The paddocks with Lush AR37 have been growing faster than anything else on the farm and the cows are harvesting the paddocks evenly. I am excited to see how Lush AR37 will perform into the spring and summer.
